Bandolero Summer Camp

The Speedway Club at Charlotte Motor Speedway offers a super-cool Summer Camp for kids ages 8 years and up! At Bandolero Camp “next generation racers” will drive a Bandolero Car on the 1/5-mile oval, meet one-on-one with professional instructors to develop/improve racing skills, learn about safety, meet other families interested in racing, and have lots and lots of fun!

Bandolero Camp is perfect for those:

  • Interested in buying a Bandolero Car
  • Bandolero racers who want some more track time and one-one guidance from a professional instructor to help improve their racing skills
  • Adventurous kids who just want to have fun!

Because our instructors work one-on-one with each child, Bandolero Camp is appropriate for the first time driver to the experienced racer.

Bandolero Camp Includes:

  • 45-minute classroom orientation
  • Professional instruction
  • 60 Laps on the 1/5-mile oval (Six 10-lap driving sessions)
  • Written and verbal critique following each driving session
  • Record of individual lap times
  • Helmet and driving suit provided
  • Lunch provided
  • Tour of 600 Racing – you’ll get a behind the scenes tour of where the cars are manufactured!
  • One-dat or Two-day camps available.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 8 years of age
  • Copy of birth certificate required
  • Signatures from both parents required on parental release waiver
  • Payment due at registration time
  • Must be at least 49 inches tall
