Located just off Bruton Smith Boulevard (1-85, exit 49), the Tom Johnson Camping Center Racing Resort offers premium RV camping just a short walk from Charlotte Motor Speedway, zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track. This campground is available for each event held at these tracks and is also available for daily RV camping year-round! These campsites feature electric, water and sewer hookups, picnic table, gravel pads, asphalt roads and WiFi access at the check-in cabin. A modern restroom/shower facility and large covered pavilion for club gatherings/special events are also onsite. Two (2) spot sizes are available: 20'x 50' and 30'x 50'. During Food Lion AutoFair weekends, standard RVs and tents are welcome.

Perched above turn 2, the 600 Terrace is our most luxurious RV camping experience. There are three (3) sizes of "private" spaces to choose from: 30'x 60', 36'x 60', 40'x 60'. These asphalt pads are trackside and provide views of the racing action so you never have to leave your amenities. Your 600 Terrace services include water & sewer hookups, 30/50 amp service, closed circuit TV and WiFi connections. For each race you receive 20 VIP guest passes, 20 infield/pit passes and two parking passes.

Rock City Campground is located off of Bruton Smith Blvd near the front entrance of the speedway at Gate Z. This campground is highly accessible to the souvenir village and the activities in front of the speedway. A dedicated tram runs from Rock City to the back side of the souvenir village before and after the races to transport you closer to your seats in no time. If you would rather walk to the speedway, it is a short 3/4 mile.

Hellman's Family Campground is located outside of Turns 3 and 4. This "family camping" area is convenient to both the 4th turn grandstands and backstretch seating. Responsible drinking, quiet time observance, and a general "family camping" atmosphere makes this one of our most popular campgrounds. It's a great place to bring your children or grandchildren.

Peninsula Campground is located behind the speedway off of I-600. A very short walk will land you at the grandstands on the back side of the speedway and trams are available that run around the perimeter of the speedway before the race. There is also a handicapped section located in this area.

Morehead Farms Campground is located off of Morehead Road on the back side of the speedway. This campground is very serene and has plenty of natural areas to enjoy including trees and a small pond. It is a great place to relax! Trams run before and after the race, taking you to the back side of the speedway. Walking is definitely an option as it is less than 1 mile to the backstretch grandstands.

Tim Flock "K" Campground is located across the road from Turns 1 and 2. This campground is convenient to the frontstretch grandstands, as well as the grandstands located in Turns 1 and 2. You can reserve a spot within this campground in advance, but actual sites will not be assigned until arrival on a first come, first serve basis. Extra tow vehicle passes are available for $50 each.

Entrance "P" Campground is located behind Turn 2 at Gate P. This is one of our smaller areas and consists primarily of RV camping. It is a very short distance to the Diamond Tower grandstand on the back side of the speedway.

Located inside of Turns 3 and 4, these sites are mainly on grass with a few sites being partially on asphalt. This is standard no hookup camping as close to the action as possible. Height limit in this area is 12" so fans can enjoy a great view from the top of their RV. During the All Star event, this is the infield area open for camping. Advance reservations are a must as this close, exciting, entertaining area is in demand with out fans.

Located inside of Turns 3 and 4, these sites are mainly on grass with a few sites being partially on asphalt. This is standard no hookup camping as close to the action as possible. Height limit in this area is 12" so fans can enjoy a great view from the top of their RV. During the All Star event, this is the infield area open for camping. RVs are set up in Turn 4 and tents occupy the Turn 3 area. Advance reservations are a must as this close, exciting, entertaining area is in demand with out fans.

Located in Turns 1 and 2 of the Charlotte Motor Speedway infield, this area accommodates tents, vans, pop-ups, and very small campers. With a height restriction of 8', the view is still fantastic. Advance reservations are recommended as this area is always a "sell-out"!
