The Dirt Track at Charlotte is cranking up the chaos with a full-throttle weekend of high-flying thrills, fiery stunts and family fun. From backflipping monster trucks to flame-throwing rat rods and a pit party like no other, the Aug. 2 Cook Out Monster Truck Bash is set to be bigger, louder and wilder than ever.

REV UP AT COOK OUT

Start the weekend early with a revved-up night at the brand-new Cook Out in Harrisburg (5161 ZMAX Drive) on Thursday, July 31, from 6–8 p.m. Catch NASCAR Cup Series Champion Joey Logano on-site signing autographs, alongside monster truck fan-favorite Tailgator, on display, kicking off the weekend’s festivities in style. 

With WRFX going live, spinning tracks, giving away tickets and bringing the family-friendly fun, it’s the perfect chance to grab a photo, fuel up with a Cook Out tray and get a jumpstart on the monster-sized weekend. 

STEAM MONSTER TRUCK MANIA

Friday is all about young fans as roaring engines collide with hands-on discovery at the STEAM Monster Truck Mania—a high-octane mashup of learning and fun. Students will dive into the wild world of physics, chemistry and engineering through interactive stations, connecting the science that brings the monster trucks to life.

Students will build mini trucks, launch ramps and even craft chemical reaction “dirt shirts”—all before capping the day off with a heart-pounding monster truck ride-along in a real six-ton beast included with every student registration.

THE BIGGEST, BADDEST COURSE

Get ready for the most epic track in Cook Out Monster Truck Bash history! This year’s layout features the event's first-ever backflip pit, setting the stage for sky-high stunts and edge-of-your-seat action.

Watch as 11 two-ton trucks tear across towering 40-foot jumps, crash through punishing obstacles and battle it out in high-stakes eliminations—all leading up to a full-throttle freestyle finale that promises non-stop mayhem.

PARTY IN THE PITS
At 5 p.m., fans can ignite the excitement before the thunderous engines roar at the Cook Out Pit Party. Take on the beast with monster truck ride-alongs, jump into rides and inflatables, grab a snack and souvenir and meet 11 of the baddest drivers in town before the show begins. 

This isn’t just a pre-show, it’s the ultimate party that cranks the energy to the max and sets the stage for a jaw-dropping night of monster truck mayhem. Fans who bring a Cook Out Cup get exclusive early access starting at 4:30 p.m., jumping straight into the heart of the action. 

RAT ROD RODEO

Get ready for raw chaos when the Rat Rod hits the track. This fire-breathing junkyard monster will spew 50-foot-tall flames, kicking up smoke and shredding tires with burnouts that’ll leave fans’ hearts pounding. This gritty, loud, wild, unfiltered action is something fans can only catch at the Cook Out Monster Truck Bash.
